Build your Public Profile
A Public Profile gives you a permanent home on Snapchat where you can be discovered publicly, showcase your creativity, and grow your audience.
To access your Public Profile, simply tap your Bitmoji in the top left corner of the screen and select “My Public Profile.” Be sure to include a profile photo, background photo, bio and location.
Don’t forget to add your Snapchat account username and/or URL to your other social channels to help your fans find you.
You’re ready to post!
There are so many ways to share your content on Snapchat, whether it’s with one friend, a select group, or the wider Snapchat community. All content shared on Snapchat must adhere to Snapchat’s Community Guidelines and Content Guidelines.
My Story · Friends
Snaps posted to your My Story · Friends will only be visible to Snapchatters you are friends with (people you have added back). Your friends can view your Story an unlimited number of times for 24 hours. Learn more about how to post to your story.
My Story · Public
Your public My Story is how you can share content with your followers and the wider Snapchat community. Your followers will see the Stories posted to your My Story · Public in the 'Following' section of the Stories page. Anyone viewing your profile can also see your active public Stories.
If you’re a creator who has established a wide audience on Snap, your public Stories could be recommended to the Community in Discover.
Your public My Story can be found as a posting option titled My Story · Public in the ‘Send To’ screen.
Spotlight
Spotlight is a great way for creators to get exposure to the broader Snapchat community.
It showcases the most entertaining Snaps, no matter who created them or how many followers you have.

Snap Map
A map that’s built just for you, your friends, and discovering the world around you. As a creator you can expand your reach by tagging locations in your Snaps and Spotlight videos. Swipe right twice from the Camera screen to open Snap Map.
If you have a Public Profile, you can choose to submit Snaps to the Snap Map anonymously or with your name attached. Learn more about how to submit to the Snap Map.
Become a Snap Star
Snap Stars are public figures or creators who bring some of the best and most entertaining content to Snapchat. Through their unique perspectives, Snap Stars give their audiences unprecedented access into their life and interests.
