Discovering Lenses
We have a massive library of Lenses for Creators to use. Explore Lenses from the Camera screen as soon as you open the app. Simply tap the smiley face icon to the right of the capture button to see your favorite Lenses, as well as what’s trending.
Tap ‘Explore’ in the bottom right corner to view recommended, trending, and themed Lenses created by Snapchat and the community.

Hands-Free Recording
Look ma, no hands! Record up to six videos, ten seconds long each, for a total of 60 seconds.
Hold down the capture button at the bottom of the screen to start recording your video. A lock icon will appear next to the button. To go hands-free, slide to the left and lock. Then do your thing!
By the way, this also works in selfie mode.
Camera Toolkit
Use the tools on the right-hand side of the Camera screen to make your Snaps spectacular.
Timeline. Stitch multiple moments into one video.
Sounds. Choose from a playlist or recommended song from our library of licensed music or create your own.
Multi Snap. Set the length of your recording. Go hands-free by holding the capture button and sliding left to lock.
Timer. Start a countdown so you can strike a pose.
Focus. Focus on a face with a depth-of-field effect.
3D. Add 3D effects to your selfie. Move your phone to change the perspective.
Grid. Line up your shots so you can focus, snap, and send.
Timeline Capture
This is one of our most popular features in the Camera Toolkit. Record multiple clips, trim and splice them, and add timed captions to your video. You can even add Sounds.
