Snapchatters can show love to their favorite Snap Stars by sending them a Gift.
Gifts are sent through Story Replies, making it easier for fans to connect with their favorite Snap Stars, and for Snap Stars to build deeper relationships with their fans. Snap Stars earn a share of the revenue from Gifts received through Story Replies.
Snapchatters can purchase Snap Tokens, which are then used to send virtual Gifts when they see a Snap that brings delight to their day.
Receiving a Gift may generate a Crystals Award for eligible Creators. Crystals are how Creators get paid, so larger Gifts mean bigger payouts! Creators can cash out their Crystals for USD as soon as certain minimums are hit.
The Snapchatter will be notified when their Gift has been opened. The Snap Star can choose to reply back or quote their fan in a Snap (people who send Gifts are prioritized in the Creator’s Story Reply feed).
