All Snapchatters age 18 or older have a Public Profile, which they can use to showcase their best Snaps publicly. On Snapchat, a single account allows you to share Snaps to just your friends, as well as establish a public presence and become a creator. Sharing content publicly and building out your Public Profile is optional.
Public Story. This is a Story that is active for 24 hours after posting and can be viewed by your friends and followers, as well as anyone in the Snapchat community. Your Public Story allows you to build a wider audience and is distinct from your My Story for friends.
Advanced Insights. Story Spotlight, Lens and Audience Insights help you understand the performance of your Snaps and create even more compelling content that other Snapchatters love!
Public Story Replies & Quoting. Have meaningful conversations around the public Stories you post through Story Replies and Quoting. You can use Story Replies to engage more deeply with your followers and friends and use the Quoting tool to make new public Stories out of your favourite Story Replies. You have the ability to turn off Story Replies at any time in your Public Profile settings, and we give creators control over the types of messages they receive with custom word filtering so that conversations stay respectful and fun.
Save Stories & Spotlights to your Profile. Choose your best public Stories, Map Snaps and Spotlights to be featured permanently on your Public Profile.
Activity Feed. Get updates about your Spotlight submission, manage replies on public Stories and Spotlights, and more!
Your Public Profile is your space to establish a public presence and begin your journey as a content creator on Snapchat. Use your Public Profile to build connections, gain followers, showcase your favourite content, and express yourself. To access your Public Profile, simply tap your Bitmoji in the top left corner of the screen and select "My Public Profile".
You can add a profile photo and cover photo, create a bio, and save your favourite Stories and Spotlights permanently - or as long as you like - to your Public Profile. Any Lenses you build will also be added to your Public Profile and you can manage your Lenses through My Lenses.

Navigate to ‘Saved Stories’ From the Profile Management section, tap your profile, go to ‘Saved Stories’ and tap ‘Create New Story.’
Select Snaps, photos and videos Tap the ‘+’ button to add new content to your Saved Stories. You can choose Public Snaps you’ve previously shared or photos and videos straight from your Camera Roll. When you’re finished, tap ‘Import’. A Story can include up to 100 Snaps or 5 minutes of total content – whichever you reach first.
Review and edit your Story Tap a Snap, photo or video to preview the entire Story and see how it will look to your audience. Rearrange or remove content by tapping ‘Edit’ in the top right corner.
Select your title and cover photo Enter a title for your Story. To select the cover photo, scroll through the photo picker and choose an image from the content in your Saved Story. A good title and cover photo will give your fans a hint of what’s in store! When you’re done, tap ‘Finish’ to publish your Story to your Public Profile.
